There is no way this can be good for the pitching staff. Even if Ryan is a better closer than Julio, Julio is still good trade bait if healthy. Furthermore, I suspect that if both Julio and Ryan are healthy, Miller will use 'em as both setup and closer. Ryan takes on the lefties and Julio takes on the righties and it doesn't matter if it's the 7th, 8th or 9th. If Julio doesn't get healthy, this reduces Miller's options.
