Election Dynamic

I don't know what the dynamic was that effected the Republican victory over the Democrats in the latest national election, however, I do know why John Kerry lost to George W. Bush.

A presidential election (any election) is a popularity contest. One can argue that it is more than that, but it is not. It may be the most fantastic popularity contest ever conducted, but it is, nevertheless, a popularity contest.

One does not win friends by calling people stupid.
