REPORTERS NOTEBOOK: "Quiet Sister"

The three Pitzer siblings each have their own unique personalities.
Jamie Lynn is shy.
Michael Edwin is smart.
Scot Andrew is sociable.
At a family picnic last weekend, Jamie and I bombarded Mom with questions about our childhood.
“Who crawled first? Who walked first? Who talked first? Who knew the alphabet first?” we asked Mom.
Michael and I split most of the categories.
The funniest reply was when we asked Mom which of us talked last.
“Jamie,” she replied. “You and Mike spoke for her until she was 3-years-old.”
Seventeen years later, I still sort of know what my sister is thinking at all times.
“I can’t believe he wrote this,” she’s probably uttering now.
